Hamilton’s professional theatre and the anchor for revitalization in downtown. Theatre aquarius brings more than 100,000 visitors to the Dofasco Centre for the Arts each year. The Centre houses 750 seats in the main auditorium and 125 seats in the rehearsal hall.

Known to be one of Southern Ontario’s best entertainment venues, housing a large variety of concerts and sporting events. The arena is home to AHL Team, The Hamilton Bulldogs, and was host to the World Junior Hockey Championships, The Canada Cup, The Memorial Cup, FIBA World Basketball Championship, the Legends of Tennis Classic, and several men’s and women’s curling tournaments, along with many more prominent sporting events. FirstOntario Centre is also a venue for a diverse range of live music shows ranging from U2, Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, Britney Spears and Elton John.

It’s been called the most underrated art gallery in all of Canada. The Art Gallery of Hamilton is Ontario’s 3rd largest public art gallery and features more than 10,000 works of art. Three times each year, the Gallery hosts special exhibitions.
